Hello, I am Christina Knudsen, a student of advertising at San Jose State University, a creative, and a foodie. I hail from El Sobrante California, a small unincorporated town next-door to Richmond. I have lived in San Jose as well but recently moved to Dublin (California, not Ireland). At SJSU I’ve studied drawing, painting, graphic design, and nearest and dearest to my heart: photography and advertising. My goal for the next year is to graduate by the end of spring and to get into the real world of advertising already!
I can not wait to combine my artistic background with my love of ideas to become a creative director of advertising. I watch commercials and look at ads and I know that is my future. I’m a fan of out-of-the-box ideas and humor. I want to change the direction of advertising, especially in America, towards creativity. I want viewers to get something in return for having been my audience and I think it will pay off.
In my free time I like to read, watch movies, and explore art; it’s mind expanding and it gives me good dreams. Nothing, however, is more invigorating than a visit home. I am the fourth child out of six and we have four combined parents. Together we have four dogs and this fall I want a fifth. My family is an ever-growing herd and they have been incredibly inspiring.
It sounds like you’re working on some wonderful things. I like the sound of your “ever-growing herd” too.
